Melton was selected to be the electrical contractor for the first ever global headquarters campus for Phillips 66. The massive project sits on 14 acres and includes two office towers, an eight story parking facility, a large central plaza with glass ceiling, a 3,000 square foot pedestrian bridge as well as several other special purpose buildings. The project faced a significant challenge when the general contractor was replaced midway through construction. The second general contractor agreed to a very aggressive schedule to get the project back on track. The Melton team kept the electrical work going while the project leadership change was taking place and immediately established close working relationships with the building owner and the new project leaders. This allowed Melton to make the changes needed to meet the challenging schedule set by the new general contractor.
